It can shield you from looking awful, I suppose. As long as you wear clothes that go well with it.

Even though it's my birthstone, I've never been a huge fan of peridot. This, however, makes an exquisite piece and really brings out the best of the stone. Simply beautiful!

Aw, thank you :) I used to not like peridots either, I think it depends on the quality of the stone though... these lime jello green ones are gorgeous, but I'm still not a fan of the pea/puke green ones hah.

My skin tone is such that I don't look good in most greens, and absolutely no pastels, so I really do need a vibrant shade (though I look good in nearly every blue) in gemstones and clothes.

It's a weird calculation of skin tone, eye color, and hair color. I'm not as good as my mom at figuring it out - so I just remember what colors she tells me look good ;)

I thought cutlery was always made with 800 silver :O
Anyway, lovely work!

nope :) cutlery actually comes in an entire huge range of materials. you're right that a lot of the older silver stuff is 800 or coin, but most of the newer silver things are 925 sterling. of course, there's a ton of items that aren't silver at all.

thanks so much! :)
